Beetroot Idly

This is an easy and simple 5 minute recipe, cooking time would take around 10-15 minutes.

Ingredients:

1. 1cup Idly batter

2. 1 beetroot (Grated)

3. 1 pinch of salt

4. 1 pinch of pepper

5. 1 pinch of black salt

Method:

Mix all the ingredients together, adjust the consistency as required. Take an idly cooker, Grece the plate with ghee and add the mixture. Let me steam for 10-15 minutes, use a fork to check if it’s cooked or not.

Tadaaaa, your beetroot Idly is ready. Serve hot, apply a little ghee over it.

Instead of beetroot, Palak, Carrot, & also Ragi Powder can be added to bring in variations in the colors as Children get attracted towards colorful things.
